FOREST SERVICE AUTHORIZES KLISTER KLASSIC SNOW FEST Forest Service staff of the Belt Creek Ranger District has authorized a special use permit for the Great Falls Cross Country Club to host the annual Klister Klassic Snow Fest Ski Race on Sunday, February 12, at the Silver Crest cross-country ski area. As a result, the area trail system will be temporarily closed for public use from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. that day. This temporary closure is necessary to provide safety for race participants and the user public. Other areas available for public cross-country skiing during this time period include Jefferson Creek, Mizpah Trail, O'Brien Creek and Deadman Creek.
