Quick Reference for Band Camp
Everyone Needs -1-2” 3 Ring Binder with 10-20 plastic protective sheets to put music, etc. in -Pencil holder for inside of binder (3 ring bag or some other creative solution) -½ gallon to 1 gallon container for water -Comfortable tennis shoes to march in (preferably old shoes) -Lunch and Dinner (if they do not plan on going off campus for food) -Marching instrument and maintenance equipment (valve oil, cork grease) Front Ensemble Members (All percussionists not in the Battery Line) will be asked to purchase a pair of mallets for the xyophone, vibrophone, or marimba. The cost of the mallets will be anywhere from $20-30 a pair. We will determine who will play these instruments and collect money to purchase these sticks on the first day of band camp
