Car Audiocassette Player Adapter Insert the SONY audiocassette adapter into your car cassette player. Plug SONY connector cable into the iPod headphone jack. * Using the iPod nano To turn iPod nano on, press any button. FM Transmitter If you don’t have a cassette player in your car, you will need an FM `Transmitter (iTrip) to play the recording. With your iPod nano connected securely to the iTrip, press Play/Pause on your iPod; the iTrip will begin broadcasting. To find the frequency your iTrip is broadcasting on, press IN on the iTrip’s navigation switch. The nano’s screen will now display the frequency on which your iTrip is set. To program the station, chose an FM frequency on which your radio plays nothing but silence or static. Press the one-touch navigation switch; an FM frequency number will appear on your iPod’s screen. Once you find your station, press the switch to lock in your selection. * To turn iPod Nano off, press and hold Play/Pause button. * To choose a menu item, move your thumb around the Click Wheel to scroll to the item, then press the center button. * To disable the iPod nano buttons in case you press them accidentally, set the Hold switch to hold. * To pause, press Play/Pause. Press Play/Pause again to resume play. * To change the volume, move your thumb around the Click Wheel while in play mode. iPod USB Power Adapter Connect iPod to the power adapter using the USB cable that came with your iPod. Extend the electrical prongs and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet or plug the iPod into a high-power USB port on your computer. Note: Battery is 80 percent charged in about 2 hours and fully charged in about 4 hours.
