Tutorial Using the Visual Search
1. After logging onto the computer, look for the Enochs Library Search icon. 2. Once you have opened the catalog you can login by clicking the login button in the upper right hand corner, and log in just as you do to the computer. This will allow you to save any list you create to use later. 3. Make sure you are in the Catalog by clicking on the tab at the top of the page. 4. Then look for the Visual Search tab on the left side of the page. 5. Once you’ve in the Visual Search page, there are several categories from which to select. 6. Each category may have subcategories for you to select from. – select a category. 7. Search Results shows how many books there are in that category and book details just by clicking on the details button. If you look at a book’s Details, you can find out what the book is about, if it is part of a series, and how many pages it has. There are evenlinks to books with similar themes. Click “Add to My List” to save a book that you might be interested in reading. Once you have several books in your list, you can go to “View My List” and sort through it to find the PERFECT book.
